CHRIST COLLEGE

ON-SITE RESIDENTIAL

Accommodation is in student houses, and is described more fully in the brochure which may be downloaded.

Christ College has full and excellent facilities – the 39 acres of ground includes six rugby pitches, three cricket squares, four hard court tennis courts, three netball courts; and a further nine tennis courts and three netball courts available on the Astroturf, plus three artificial cricket squares. The college’s sports equipment is available for our use.

There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool which will be supervised at scheduled open times by an appropriate Brother or Sister.

Extensive picturesque walks are available just outside the college.

The Bible School Bookshop will be open twice most days.

First aid is located on-site with qualified volunteers on-call. Usual Doctor cover is available from Brecon G.P. practices.

IT facilities are available upon request in most of the buildings.

Further information is provided in the programme issued to those booking.

CAMPING AND CARAVANNING

Campers and caravanners are asked to arrange their own site accommodation in the area and book using the Day Visitor form. Sister Claire Barker may be able to give details of local caravan and camping sites.

Daytime refreshments are provided at the College, and also an evening meal on the arrival day (Monday). It is also possible to book other meals – see the Day Visitor booking form for details.

Own Accommodation Costs

Day Visitor Costs

If you prefer to arrange your own accommodation off-site for the week (camping, caravanning or B & B) you will need to pay a day charge, which includes an amount charged by the College plus the cost of any meals you may require during the day.

Some Bed and Breakfast information is available – please contact Sis. Claire Barker for details.
